Zavertailo is a Kyiv-based ‘sincere food’ establishment with a unique philosophy and uncompromising character. When the brand decided to enter large-scale retail, the main challenge was to preserve this identity on shelves alongside global mass-market brands.

Solution The visual solution is centered around custom illustrations of elderberry and dogwood, hand-drawn using the dry brush technique. Delicate botanical graphics were transformed into bold, high-contrast forms that convey a craft feel through texture and rhythm. This approach resulted in a minimalist can design that stands out in supermarket refrigerators through radical black-and-white contrast and expressive graphics.
